The questions people actually ask

What you're buying, what it costs, when you'll see results, what happens to your team and your data. The direct answer first, the reasoning after. No hype.

01

Service model

“I don't understand what I'm buying.”

What exactly am I buying?

A complete sales leadership function as a service: strategy, execution, and governance, with fixed weekly dedication, KPIs, and deliverables. This isn't consulting — we don't hand over recommendations: we build and operate. And yes: if you only need to fix one phase, time-boxed standalone services exist too.

What exactly do I get each month?

Dedication, executed and visible: the sales operation running (prospecting, pipeline, pre-sales, closing), the forecast updated with judgment, the dashboard with the agreed KPIs, and governance meetings with decisions and minutes. You don't get a monthly report: you get a function that works — the report is the small part.

02

Pricing and contracting

The fear of hidden costs.

How much does it cost?

€4,000/month (25 h/week) or €5,600/month (40 h/week), a 5% margin variable, 6-month commitment. It's published on Pricing: no surprises. The commitment exists because a sales system isn't built in 8 weeks — it protects your outcome, not our billing.

What's included in the price? Are there extras later?

It includes the complete function: leadership, method, execution with the agreed dedication, and the team's working tools — Prospector included as a tool within the service. The only separate items are optional and agreed in advance: extending dedication, or contracting Prospector as your own SaaS if you want it in-house. Nothing appears on an invoice without having been discussed first.

03

ROI and economics

“Does the math work out?”

How does it compare to hiring in-house?

An equivalent in-house team costs €100–120k (sales director) + €50–60k (account executive) + €30–38k (SDR) + €10–40k in tools — plus hiring, ramp-up, and turnover. With Vertex you get the complete system from day 1 at a fraction of that cost. Revenue Cost Model™ runs the numbers with YOUR data.

How do I justify this investment to my board?

With three numbers you'll see every week: the comparative cost (full dedication for less than half the cost of a single in-house executive), the activity and pipeline generated (agreed KPIs, shared dashboard), and the variable tied to margin — we earn more only if you earn more. It's one of the few line items in the budget that comes with its own scorecard.

04

Time and results

Impatience.

When will I see results?

Operational indicators (activity, an organized pipeline, forecast with judgment) from the first weeks; visible sales results from month 6. Anyone who promises new sales in 30 days is selling you activity, not a system. The kickoff: Assessment 1–2 weeks · Architecture 2–3 weeks · Implementation 1–3 months.

What exactly happens in the first month?

Weeks 1–2: diagnosis — data, interviews, the real funnel; you'll know what part of your potential isn't converting into revenue. Weeks 3–4: system design begins (ICP, process, forecasting), and the first obvious fixes don't wait for the blueprint. From day one you have a point of contact and governance: the “black box” feeling dies in week 1.

05

Implementation and kickoff

“This is going to eat up my time.”

How does it start, and how much does it demand of me?

We start with the Assessment (1–2 weeks: data + interviews). Your job is to make decisions, not to operate: governance happens in scheduled meetings. And no: you don't have to switch CRMs — Prospector and the method sit on top of your stack and integrate what you already use.

How much time does it demand from my team?

Just the kickoff: diagnostic interviews (one session per key person), and after that, their normal work — but inside a system that makes it easier, not one piled on top of it. The design rule is that the system removes friction from the person selling; if a process adds bureaucracy without adding judgment, it's badly designed and gets fixed.

06

Team and roles

“Is this going to get someone fired?”

Does it replace my team?

We don't replace your team: we give it a system. “Companies don't fail for lack of talent. They fail because talent works without a system.” If you already have sales leadership, Vertex can be the architecture and governance layer. When capacity is missing, recruiting and onboarding fall within scope.

What if I'm short on people — do you also hire and train?

Yes. When the diagnosis shows a capacity gap, recruiting, onboarding, and training the sales team fall within the scope of the service. With one difference from hiring blind: the system exists first (ICP, process, playbook), and only then do you hire whoever will operate it — doing it the other way round is like hiring a pilot before you have a plane.

07

Outsourcing sales leadership

“This is too critical to hand off.”

Isn't it risky to outsource THIS?

You outsource the construction and operation of the system; the decisions stay yours, with shared governance and a dashboard. And everything we build stays in-house: an organized CRM, playbook, cadences, data, forecast. We build systems that don't depend on people — including us.

Doesn't this make me dependent on you?

The opposite: the dependency is what you have today — on a star salesperson, on your own calendar, on a tool only one person understands. Everything we build is documented and yours, and the commitment is 6 months, not for life. Our best guarantee of renewal is that you want to stay, not that you can't leave.

08

Prospector

“Just another tool.”

What is Prospector, and how do I sign up for it?

“Prospector automates a significant share of the repetitive work tied to prospecting, meeting preparation, sales research, and follow-up, so the team's time goes to higher-value activities.” Included as a tool within the service, or as standalone SaaS: €690/month (3 reps, +34 telephony included), implementation from €1,900, 1-year commitment. It doesn't replace your CRM: it sits on top and feeds it.

Does it work with the tools I already have?

Yes — that's how it's designed. Prospector sits on top of your stack and integrates it: it doesn't ask you to migrate your CRM or throw out what works. The idea is to add a layer that organizes and executes, not to bolt on the seventh patch to the Frankenstein.

09

Artificial intelligence

Hype and fear, at the same time.

Will AI talk to my customers?

People have the conversations; AI prepares, remembers, assists live (in Spanish), and removes the repetitive work. Judgment isn't automated — time is freed up to exercise it.

What if the AI gets it wrong or “makes something up”?

That's exactly why its role is to assist, not decide: it proposes, prepares, and reminds, and a person validates before anything reaches a customer. It works on your real data and real conversations — not on guesswork — and everything it produces stays visible to the team, not locked in a black box.

10

Security and data

“My sales data is sensitive.”

How do you handle my data?

GDPR compliance: legal basis, access limited to the assigned team, and your data is yours — it's handed over and deleted per contract upon exit.

Who, exactly, sees my information?

The team assigned to your account — no one else. No generic access, no sharing information between clients, and the commitments are in writing in the contract. If your sector requires additional standards (healthcare, for example), they're built into the agreement before we start.

11

Confidentiality

Small market, competitors.

Do you sign NDAs? Do you work with my competitors?

Contractual confidentiality from the first conversation. Case studies are published only with permission and without identifiable data. The non-conflict perimeter is agreed by contract.

Will my company appear on your website as a case study?

Only if you want it to. By default, nothing about you gets published; if there's ever a story worth telling, it's done with your express permission, and you decide the level of detail — named or anonymized. Our library's rule is strict: without permission and real data, there is no case study.

12

Results and guarantees

“What if it doesn't work?”

Do you guarantee results?

We don't guarantee figures: anyone who does is either lying or hiding conditions. We guarantee dedication, method, and full KPI transparency — you'll see exactly what we see, every week. Dedication is billed with a variable on margin: aligned, without turning your pipeline into a hunt for cheap leads.

What if I don't see progress after three months?

You will — one way or another — because operational progress is visible from the first weeks: activity, pipeline, forecast, all in the shared dashboard. If something drifts, it shows up in the governance meeting and gets corrected there, with decisions — it doesn't get discovered at renewal time. The absence of a black box is the guarantee we can actually sign.

13

Competitors and alternatives

“Why you?”

How are you different from a consultancy, an agency, or a hired director?

A consultancy recommends; an agency executes one channel; a sales director is one person, with their own ramp-up curve and turnover risk; a fractional hire is that same person, part-time. Vertex builds and operates the complete system, with a proprietary technology asset and a method that stays in-house.

What really makes you different — beyond the pitch?

Two things that are hard to copy. One: the judgment comes from having held every link in the sales chain — prospecting, key accounts, pre-sales, channel, leadership — not from having read about it. “We don't design processes from a meeting room. We design them from the experience of having held every one of the positions we now coordinate.” And two: Prospector, a proprietary operating engine that executes the method — not a recommendation to buy third-party tools.

14

Fit

“Is this for me?”

Which companies is this for?

B2B companies with complex sales (3-to-12-month cycles) — industry, distribution, logistics, technology, services, and healthcare. If your sale is purely transactional or B2C, we're probably not your best option — and we'll tell you so on the first call.

Are we too small for this?

Size matters less than the sale: if your cycle takes months and several people decide on every deal, you already need a system — whether you have 15 employees or 300. The dedication model (from 25 h/week) exists precisely so a smaller company can access a complete sales leadership function without the cost structure of a large one. What we will tell you honestly is if the timing isn't right.

IS YOUR CASE DIFFERENT?

Tell us.

If your question isn't here, or your situation has nuances, the best answer is a conversation — no sales script, with your numbers on the table.
